What are some activities to do in Punta Cana? |
Travel Info I'm staying 5 nights at an all-inclusive resort and want to know what else there is to do outside the resort. Travel Tips I agree, the all inclusive was great. However if you want to leave there are excursions they will sell like to manatee park or a cultural tour or to a cigar factory etc. They are perfectly safe but cost more. It's hard to leave the resort unless you are on one of these planned tours because you have no transportation and you may get ripped off if you don't know what you're doing or aren't saavy. For us there was plenty to do on the resort property. Rest & relax. There are clubs where you could take a taxi maybe, but there is also going to be a disco on the resort grounds. If you leave then you have to buy food/drinks while you are gone, reducing the value you can get out of your all inclusive. Now if you walk down the beach either way you may run into a market or other activities available. banana boats, parasailing, etc. that will also cost extra. the beach is very safe. we saw only one panhandler on the beach, mostly they only allow tourists on the beach in that area. Relax, nap, eat & enjoy the beach. snorkeling was available on the resort and it was great. scuba diving was available too for an extra fee. i recommend it. Others don't go outside the resort, stay on the beach, or in the pool. |
