Is there anyone who has gone on vacation to Santo Domingo and has cought a horrible viruse? |
Travel Info I went about 3 weeks ago, there were 11 of us and i was the only one who didn't get sick THANK GOD! I just wanted to know because my boyfriend had to go to the hospital when we got back and we saw some people that we had seen over there at dominican republic. It was really bad. Travel Tips I was in Punta Cana two summers ago, and I got horribly sick from the food. Thankfully, I didn't have to go to the hospital. Let's just say that Pepto Bismol and I got quite close that week. -_- Others As a Dominican I can tell you that it is possible to catch a virus from any type of restaurant in any part of the world or even at your favorite fast food store, but it is possible in the Dominican rep. what I always do is drink bottled water or boil your water if possible, eating out anywhere you don't what they put in the food for sure, or how old it is so, too bad for your friends. |
