Do fast food resuraunts in the Dominican Republic taste the same as they do in the USA? |
Travel Info I heard they are different as far as class and ambiance goes, but is the taste of the food any different than here in the states? Specifically places common like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, etc.. I also heard something about the quality being better. Meaning, less fat, better preperation, and better quality. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanx for your help. :) Travel Tips I have a friend who has a carribean type restuarant said he was shocked when he ate his first meal in the domican republic. He said it was terrible but also said if you can find where the local people eat its much better. I think they try to americanize the food where the tourist are. Better, because Island People always add spice to their cooking I think there is a different taste in anything that's fried maybe because they use different oils or something, but what I find that tastes much better in D.R. is the ice cream like in friendly's everything takes much better than here in the states, also baskin robbins. |
