Does anyone know of an airline that has tickets less than $950 a person to Dominican Republic from Oakland? |

I see flights to the DR from the midwest for under $300 on occasion, but you probably would have to call someone to have them check, because they are not offered all the time. You might have to fly into Punta Cana, but even so if you can get a flight for that cheap it wouldn't be that bad to pay $ for a taxi to where you need to get to. I also found a flight for 595. on expedia.com but its a long flight. That is a rip off, try several airlines, and it will help if you have flexible days to travel, Expedia.com has some starting in the mids 500 for the end of this month. Good luck.
