Good resort in Punta Cana? |
Travel Info I'm going to Punta Cana in November and am looking for a great all-inclusive resort. Requirements are great beach, good food, clean, some night life. Any recommendations? Travel Tips sun scape the beach is great!!! the resort is well kept. most of the staff speak English. food is great. did not get sick. they have a small casino and nightly shows. the beach is great it is brown sand instead of the white sand. if you go into the ocean keep to the left hand side. went down a ways near a log that is on beach that area in the ocean was sandy. we enjoyed just sitting at the bar in the court yard. if you go to that bar i hope wandy is working!!! you can go shopping a ways way from the resort. tips go a long way down there. the only bad thing about the hotel was the trip to the hotel which is about an hour a way from airport. road is very bumpy. in front of the hotel you can see the mountains and at the back of the hotel is the ocean. A word of advice tho- I've known a lot of people who get sick from the meat in the DR. Myself included. If you don't want to ruin your vaca, take some acidophiles before and during your vaca, it helps strengthen your insides against 'unfamiliar' things :-) That's three for Sunscape the Beach! Had a wonderful time. I'd suggest doing the Outback Safari excursion. We had such a great time with our guide and drank lots of rum! BTW: We booked through Apple Vacations and not only got a better deal- but the staff was terrific at making your stay the best. Also, the drinks are all included, but bring along a big insulated cup that they will refill as often as you like. Otherwise you will only have a small plastic cup and your drink gets very warm (and gone!) fast. When we left at the end of the week we left our cups with another couple to use and told them to pass along when they left. sunscape the beach(its an all inclusive)!!!!!!!!!!!!!what im the fourth one now!! its a beautiful place to go. everyones nice there you have the ocean and the moutians. the wildlife is right there which i loved! very clean. a long pool. the rooms are kinda small but who sits in them all day. do the outback sufire its the best. they have nightlife, shows at night, my different restronts(im a very picky eater and i LOVE there food down there) will lets really say words can not explaine how beautiful this place is!! oh they play both american and dominican music. you can hear it as u walk around but its not too loud(like u can hear it but cant hear it) The beach is big and nice!!! we went there Apple Vacations which i recommend going threw I have pic's of Sunscape the Beach if you would like to see them fell free to contact me at broncosnumber30@yahoo.com experince |
