Going to the dominican republic, can i bring aspirin and do i need a tourist card besides my passport? |
Travel Info I have read on a website that you need a tourist card besides your passport with you can purchase in the airport for $10. Is this correct, Can I bring exederin (aspirin) in to that country. iam staying at the village resort&spa in puerto plata. How much do I expext to pay for a taxi from the airport to my resort. Its 8 miles from the airport to my resort Travel Tips the tourist card is 10 dollars, usually you fill it out on the plane then hand it at the counter in the airport. Aspirin is okay. Just don't put it in your carry-on. It shouldnt cost more than $20 to get to your resort. Don't convert your dollars. Source(s): was just there Other Travel Tips Yes you will need a tourist card..There is a counter right before you go through customs. Usually you can get this through your travel agent as well, I know when I visit it is included in my cost of my trip so you might want to check into that. I have always brought my headache relief medications there with no problem...just make sure that you have it in the orig packaging. Have fun! Yes, you can take your medicaine with you. If you're taking a big bottle just pack it in the bag you're checking. If you need to have some on hand, I'd say buy a little pill box you can keep in your purse. That's what I do. The tourist card you can get there once you get off the plane for $10, but if you can I would recommend you get it here before you leave. It may cost you $15 here but you can fill it out and save some time going through customs. Have a great time! |
