Travel Info What is the weather like in Cuba and Dominion Republic in February? Travel Tips Dominican Republic... Tropical! Hot and steamy! In February it's better than in August but it's all relative. If you are not from a tropical place be prepared for high humidity and a hot sun. I was there one January and actually found that I would have liked a light (LIGHT) long-sleeved top in the evenings in the breeze by the water front. But I have tropical genes and I am always cold. I also think it's a little drier that time of year (i.e. not so many rainy spells...). Have a good trip and pack light. (Don't bother to bring a jacket! Take extra pairs of sexy footwear instead...)
