Travel Info Are there good hotels in the dominican republic on the beach? Travel Tips If you like crowd,go to Punta Cana.There are more than 40 resorts,just on the beach. Out the hotels there is not so much to see. If you like little-good hotels and less turistic but nice beaches,go to Las Galeras or Las Terrenas,in Samana' peninsula. Out the hotels there is a lot to see(Water falls,hills with tropical forest,islands,the sea,wild beaches) and you will have not to travel kilometers to see all this.Few minutes or less than one hour.It depends. In the south,to Bahia hibe,there are some resorts.Maybe crowded,in high season as the ones of Punta Cana Bavaro. The sea is nice there,especially for divers,snorkelers. There are islands to visit,and other interesting trips to rivers,sugar cane cultivations,etc.The capital is at one hour from there. Bye. N.M.
