Have you been to Domincan Republic? Punta Canta? Which city is best and why? |
Travel Info I am planning a vacation this winter and never been? Got any tips for me? I like some nightlife and shopping. Travel Tips Punta Cana has the most beautiful real estate in the world the tourism to this region increases year after year. Most visitors to this area arrive via Punta Cana International Airport, and are immediately overwhelmed with Punta Cana's magnificent landscape and beautiful weather. Be careful with the holidays as the area can be a little bit more expensive. Always take the all inclusive package. Have a great trip, Others Watch out for the water there! Really, a lot of people get sick even in the 5star resort, use bottle water only even to brush your teeth and try to avoid salads. Otherwise it is really nice! We went 2 years ago. It really depends on what you like. Punt Cana is a ritzy resort area like Cancun (which is great) but you will not see the real DR there. If you want to see how the local cuture really is go to Boca Chica. It is a party town with bars, shopping, disco, and an exellent beach. On the north coast I like Sosua or Caberatte. At Punta Cana you're pretty much going to be at the resort the whole time. They're mostly large, all-inclusive resorts. It's a beautiful island to relax and enjoy the sun and surf Any place in dominican republic is the best. Of course me being Dominican i would say that. but Punta cana is great, beaches, pools, hotels, resorts, tropical views. EVERYTHING IS THERE!!!!! The food is great, its a paradise. depends. Santo domingo and santiago are good for shopping but the beaches suck. theres no beaches in santiago cos its the middle of the island. for the nightlie i would suggest cabarete you reallly cant beat that. sosua is a reeaaly big turistic area as well. jarabacoa and constanza are nice mountain towns. samana and punta cana beaches are gorgeus. i live in sosua an its about 20 mins away froom cabarete so if you want wate sports and nigh life come here. theres a few nice, smalller beaches about an our frm here too like playa diamante and rio san juan. theres also some rivers like jamao al norte and jassica around an hour away, all very good. its all around a beautiful country. december loooks good for weather its arledy rained so much i really dont know hwo much more cna come down =P i live here and ive been all over? ne other question u can email me c_kobi@yahoo.com gorgeous country so worth visiting. |
