Travel Info what do u like about the dominican culture? Travel Tips Their hospitality, the food, the music, and how animated they always are. They're a very poor people, but they always find the best in every situation. They will go out of their way to help you. I love the dominican people so much that I married one, she's the best thing that's happened to me. The majority of the women know how to cook and almost all of the men can fix anything. The electricity goes out on a daily basis, but they make the best of it and even joke about it, same thing with their water supply. The MLB has tons of baseball players from the dominican republic, my personal opinion is that they're so good because they play "bitilla" starting at a very young age, it's a dominican-made-up baseball game that's very difficult. What's there to NOT love about dominican culture?? I go back to the DR year after year and LOVE every trip even more than the previous one :) Others The way they cook, and the food!! food and dancing nothing at all except they way the cook pork and chicken and the merrangque dance I have been going to the DR every winter to take a break from the cold. I love it there. The people are poor but happy with what they have. I think it is the friendliest place in the carribbean. I love the food, music, weather, beaches, and mostly the people. If I wasn't married I would find a wife there. I am considering retireing to the DR.
