Travel Info Do you recommend visiting Domincan Republic? Travel Tips Yes, it is great there. all the hotels are all inclusive so you eat and sleep like a king. Others yes... it is very beautiful...make sure u go and c the Columbus monument.... Not really! The island of The Commonwealth of Dominica is MUCH MORE PEACEFUL than the Dominican Republic and more beautiful believe it or not.The Island of Dominica is situated between the 2 french islands of Guadeloupe and Martinque.it is 15 30'N and 61 20W.Small peaceful island almost 100 % natural rainforest with queit most locally family runned hotels, guest ,villas -where u get personal attention.Most Of the Fillm Pirates Of the Caribbean 2 Was filmed on many parts of the island.Remember Im not talking bout the Dominican Republic but rather the Commonwealth Of Dominica or more Commonly Known- Dominica.Checkout what it has to offer on these webistes below- worth a glance trust me. www.dominica.dm www.avirtualdominica.com www.visit-dominica.com YES, definately go! I've been twice. I'd recommend going and experiencing the 'real' dominican republic by getting away from the resorts (even though it's heartbreaking seeing the poverty). Second time I was there I stayed in an orphanage. It really makes you appreciate what you have. Absolutely! It's a great place, just stay away from those stupid all-inclusive places. of course i do. im a dominican travel agent, and dr has the greatest things, wether you're looking for a mountain vacation, or beach, or adventure sports, or just a great city to vacation, you can visit the first city in amerca, Santo Domingo Colonial zone, go shopping, and also outside the city you can go to punta cana or bavaro, Bayahibe beach at la romana, and many other destinations.. |
