What is the best all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic? |
Travel Info Obviously, your great personal experiences only, as we seek a resort on that stretch of beach. Travel Tips ANYONE in punta cana will be good, but what you want to look for is that the resorts are very close to other resorts and maybe share things like dance-clubs or restaurants things like that in case there's not a whole lot of people in your resort, there's a chance that in the other one there will be a lot.... Others Be sure to compare packages, go to the sight below and click on all-inclusive, I'm sure you'll save. Silver Bay, Golden Beaches (All-Inclusive) Play in Playa Dorada, a development of upscale, all-inclusive resorts garlanded by a golden beach, near the silvery bays of Puerto Plata. Includes: Flight, All-Inclusive Hotel, Taxes & Fees www.darhonsworldtravel.com www.darhonsworldtravel.com Hi, I guess there's no real absolute answer to that question... It depends on what you're looking for and your budget I guess. Personally, I'm fond of the Occidental Grand Flamenco : The pools and their gentle slopes are great for the kids. The main restaurant is quite new. There are enough palm trees on the beach so that you'll find shade even if all the chairs are occupied. It's not among the most expensive. I went once to the Barcelo Caribe, which is fine as well, but the pool is just average. The beach is ok and the restaurants were better than the Occidental. Being on the Barcelo complex you can also take advantage of the other Barcelo hotels (except the Palace's restaurants). But I prefer the Occidental in the end... I'm sure you'll find some useful information there : www.debbiesdominicantravel.com www.debbiesdominicantravel.com All inclusive resorts absolutely suck! Not only do they serve the lowest quality booze and intimidate their guest not to go out of the resort unless on a guided tour (which they of course sell for your convenience & their profit) which is utter BS, but they are also destroying the local economy. These places put so many small Dominican business owners out of business, and all of the profits get re-patriated out of the country. All-inclusives contribute to the problem of poverty in the Dominican Republic and make a very few people very rich. We stayed at the sun scape the beach. very wonderful place to stay. food is great even my picky eater found plenty of food to eat. the beach is wonderful it has brown sand at this resort. the staff is wonderful and understand English. looking to going back in the spring time. |
