Not enough nice things to say about this about this hotel. I have stayed in more than a dozen hotels in the Dominican Republic but the ---Hodelpa Caribe Colonial--- rates among the best for comfort, atmosphere, service, employees and price. If you are in love with the art deco style of Miami Beach then the Caribe Colonial is the place to stay. I have spent over 30 nights here in the last three years. Last Visit was February 2005 when I got engaged. Unique Qualities: Very well located in a safe neighborhood in the middle of the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. Within walking distance to all the best nightlife in the Colonial Zone and within a few steps of the main shopping district. Prices: US$80-120 Address: Calle Isabel La Catolica No. 159, , Santo Domingo, Directions: Located in the Colonial Zone and surrounded by Embassies from all over the world. A modern hotel located among the oldest part of Santo Domingo. Parking available, restaurant and bar in lobby. |
