Can i travel to the Dominican Republis with a criminal record? |
Travel Info I am wanting to travel to the Dominican Republic in July of this year for two weeks. I am unsure if the fact i have a criminal record will prevent me from going... Travel Tips Your question is actually a fairly simple one. Yes. You may travel to the Dominican Republic with a criminal record. In fact, you may travel here, work here, etc., with no problems, unless your crime is an international crime, whereby you may be able to land, but will not be permitted into the country. Like the others have said; if you were able to obtain a passport, then you will be able to travel to the Dominican Republic at any time. Oh....make sure that you have no outstanding warrants. If you do, when you reenter the U.S. you will be stopped at the airport and possibly taken into custody. Others Shouldn't be a problem as long as the criminal record has a passport. You can go, you can go anywhere with a passport. you served your time or paid your fine or whatever so it doesnt matter. Who is going to tell them? just go and enjoy your self, but stop being a naughty boy. Wouldn't you be better travelling with a friend or partner? Ken R. |
