Travel Tips
Not sure about Iberostar Resorts, it may be that one is kid friendly and the other may not be. I have Stayed at Secrets Excellence in December. Had a great time with adult friends and adult family. This resort did a fine job supplying entertainment and dining and the rooms were fantastic. Stayed for a week and just did not want to come back. If you choose to take a tour outside of the resorts, just be careful like you would in any big city. This country is very poor and you'll see that the Dominicans are very pleasant but the Haitian immigrants can be very rude and forward. But again I loved my trip, although the ocean on the Atlantic side was very rough. Stick to laying out on the beach but keep swimming to the pools.

They are two sister resorts and every thing and everyone were very nice and friendly wonderful location to vaca at- child friendly...My fam and I had a very nice time in Aug 05 that we are returning in June 07. If your not traveling with child it's still a wonderful place. You can enjoy everything at both resorts, the inclusive activies and the restaurants are reservation but worth the wait. Get out to Mantino Park it's a treat.
Identical... they are twin wings in the same resort. The beach is beautiful.
Stayed next door at the upscale sister property Iberostar Bavaro Beach... it is a little nice but also more expensive.
