Travel Tips sunscape the beach is the best i been to so far. staff is very friendly very clean i belive its only 3 years old. but it all depends what u want in a vac. the beach is quite more relaxing and the way to the beach(hr drive from airport which is a beautful drive) u get to see the land and how free everything is. i dont know what jamacia is like but i know its heavly toured so lot of non locals prob. dominican lots of locals. but i do recpmend the beach for the most part. find a wed site and compare to what u want on ur trip best of luck to ya Others costa dorada the best holiday you will ever have in the iberostar it is a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff have been there six years in a row it gets better every time iberostar is the better hotel excellent facilities been to both places loved them both, more to do outside the hotel in jamaica reggae wherever you go beautiful laidback gorgeous beaches friendly people yummy food lots trips. Dom rep is merengue music spanish not much in costa dorada in the way of local life but you have great time in both places personally i prefer jamaica. I think it depends on what you are looking for in a Vacation. Jamaica is more of a secluded, being alone one-on-one kinda a vacation. For me Dominican Republic was more of an interaction with the locals, trying local foods, local clubs, the music, the beach, Jamaica, I barely left the hotel, cause I was in a small town and really spent most of the time tanning and relaxing. Good luck though! You will have a great time with great views, whichever one you choose! I haven't heard of Sunscape the beach before, but Iberostar Cosat Dorada is recommended.
