Travel Tips Before you leave for your trip take him to his Dr. and make sure that all his vaccines are up to date. Make sure that he drinks only good water, meaning don't give him water that comes out of a faucet or public fountain drinks. Sun block and bugs repellent are a must, specially at that young age, also don't give him food that you can buy on the streets, (their level of hygiene might not be the best). Since he is probably gonna be spending a lot of time on heat and sun, keep him very well hydrated by taking lots of fluids. Take along all the meds. that he might need in case he gets sick, like cold meds, gas relief drops , Tylenol. etc. Hope you guys have a wonderful trip, good luck and God bless! Other Travel Tips try this site www.travelersvaccines.com or call the local passport office they will have info on what inoculations are needed to travel abroad take him to the tanning salon so he has a nice base tan and does not burn the best thing to do would be to ask your doctor what vaccines are needed. don't forget some bug repelent! I'd bring along good diarrhea medication for him, and Pepto-Bismol for yourselves. There is also dengue fever in the region, but the resorts usually spray. |
