I'm planning to have a honey moon in Dominican Republic...? |
Travel Info if you've been there...which hotel/resort to choose..with all included and at a reasonable price? Travel Tips I went there for my honeymoon also. We stayed at The Grand Palladium Bavaro Resorts and Spa. It was absolutely amazing and I am currently planning a trip back. Right now prices are around $3000 for both of us. That includes everything, flight, ground transportation, all-inclusive. Our travel agent said if you go over Thanksgiving or Christmas prices are double and Jan-Mar they are 50% more. We want to go back next April which is when we went for our honeymoon. You can look at pictures online and get an estimate for when you go at http://applevacations.com. Hope this helps. Good luck. oh and it's in Punta Cana, DR forgot to tell you that. Others Be care full they had a malaria outbreak there. Go to tripadvisor.com and you get reviews of all hotels/resorts there. Also there is a Forum where you can post questions and get some answers from the people who traveled to DR. I don't travel without researching on Tripadvisor.com Traveler I have been to the resorts in the Dominican Republic call Riu they have about 3 in Puerto Plata and 2 in Punta Cana, the price depends on the time of the year that you are going. I went to one of the Riu's in Puerto Plata with Hotel and Air fair for 4 days and 5 nights for $806 traveling from NYC area. I went for Memorial Day Weekend. Enjoy your trip where ever you end up going... Casa Marina in Sosua. Close to the Puerto Plata Airport and a nice place and in the middle of a nice town. |
