I want to travel to Puerto Plata/ santiago and would love to know of some great places to see/visit.? |
Travel Info We will be traveling light with minimal luggage so we can hop around from place to place. We want to rent motorcycles or scooters and just do some exploring. Thanks, Leslie Travel Tips If you plan to rent scooters, it might be better for you to stay alongside the coast and visit Puerto Plata, Sosua and Cabarete. To go to Santiago is more comfortable by car, but you can still make it. There is even a road with a scenic view of the valley to go to Santiago. Now, if you really want to go wild and will travel on February, take a bus or rent a car and head any Sunday to the Carnival in La Vega. Others id say from puerto plata to santiago u should try either Joaquin Balaguer highway or through the mountain the first thing:The Monument, centro cultural Leon, Del sol street, the cigar museum,the malls , theres a bunch of places that ull love to go in santiago ohh and if u go on the weekends now in february ull see the carnival parties at the monument ull love it |
