I'm going on vac. in April to the Ocean Blue Golf Resort in Punta Cana. Any good/bad experiences? |
Travel Info I'm going the week of April 20-27 and this is my first vacation to anywhere south so I'm nervous about the resort...I've read reviews posted online but I'd rather have answers first-hand, as to the condition of the resort, staff friendliness...and activities...It's just myself and my husband going....I'm looking for postitive and negative reviews of the Ocean Blue Golf Resort...Punta Cana! Travel Tips Hey, Jess! We're going to that resort April 15-22, so maybe you'll see us there. I'll be the tallest guy there, and my wife is pretty short, so we're hard to miss. I've read nearly every review online and I truly believe we're going to have an awesome time. The only reason this resort isn't one of the top rated is because it hasn't been around long enough (most of the Blue side is only a couple years old). That also means it's pretty much guaranteed to be pristine, though. As I've learned from the resorts I've been to, you can't please everybody. Some people are just rude and impossible to please. They make the most insignificant things seem catastrophic. Keep an open mind, be friendly, don't drink the tap water, and don't waste too much time on long tours. You'll have an awesome time. P.S.- Something I thought was cool: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&sl... Ocean Blue/Sands is right in the middle of that map (on the "hump", where the beach is the widest). Zoom in and check out the area. The airport is to the southeast along the right side of the island, if you want to see it. Others hey im going the week of april15-20th! ive also read many reviews online and looked at numerous pictures and it truly looks breath taking! i cant wait to get away from the cold and lay by the gorgeous beach! At ocean resorts you'll only have good experiences, besides you are going to the best, there are two ocean, the blue and sand is the best of them... |
