Housing in the Dominican Republic? Which is better for a few yrs - apt or house? Which area's best? |
Travel Info I'm partial to the Puerto Plata, Sos煤a, Cabarete area, but I really only need running water wherever I'll live, and don't mind the Santiago or Santo Domingo areas. Really, ANY location is fine with me as long as I have running water and maybe a grocery store nearby. Any suggestions? Travel Tips Santiago is the best choice as the rental prices are lower than in the capital or the touristic areas. I live in Sosua and here you can count with US$ 350 and up for a one bedroom apartment. I would rather rent an apartment than a house, because of maintenance and security reasons. |
