We just came back from Punta Cana, making the big mistake of staying in those big resorts, with defrozen food (it's all inclusive) and after the 3rd day, we had it and went out to eat every day and night! Yes, we had the Royal Treatment without the Royal Food. Punta Cana's beaches, are beautiful, always warm and so emerald green ! I don't know where you could stay but if you decide to go there, check out on small hotels on the beach. Also, Punta Cana is very safe, we went with our children and at no time, encountered a situation where we felt scared. They have the so called Tourist Police Force, everywhere!!
