hi there, I am from Dublin, Ireland and I will tell you something that practically every person who visits here will come back...it is a beautiful country and I see it every day and still gasp in awe at how beautiful a country it is...our people are known worldwide as one of the most friendly and welcoming people and we have a long and colourful history and culture which many visitors fall in love with,, why do you think so many Americans claim to be Irish??? because there is something special about this place...

The only way I am able to tell you this is because I have been to Ireland, N. Ireland, and Scotland. It is green and wonderful. The money is in euro's for Ireland and pounds in N. Ireland. Very green. It's just a wee bit hard to get used to driving on the opposite side of the road than here in America. Go to Ireland, makes a great vacation.
I am from the Netherlands, I have been to Ireland and it is an amazing country ! It has everything you could possibly want from a country. The nature is amazing, the people are great. Definitely a place to go to (again and again).

The rain does not matter. It makes the surroundings more beautiful. (this is no joke)

It is the green and pleasant land which gets more than its share of rain,but with the loveliest people in the world.
'Tis a great aul place but it rains...... alot!! And we are all very friendly here if I do say so myself! ;D
