What should I take with me clothes wise? |
Travel Info Hi guys,. need help .. i am going to ireland on friday. i dont know what kind of clothes should i take. Coat and warm shoes? it is a stupid question, I know but I am spoiled californian. Travel Tips Ireland is experiencing a heat wave at the moment and its one of our hottest summers ever!bring loose light clothes..but it will get cold in the evening..but that doesnt mean haul out the ski jacket..just the usual summer jacket that you would wear..bring one or two pair of jeans with you for those days that it might rain or when its slightly cooler..also bring trainers but dont forget the comfy sandels for the hot days!three quater lenght trousers are the best and tee-shirts and string tops..if your going anywhere near a beach bring the bikini or swim suit..the weather in all of Europe is amazing at the mo and dublin has been hotter in the last few days than some popular holiday destinations such as spain!enjoy yourself! Source(s): living (and melting) in dublin Other Travel Tips You should take clothes that are going to be comfortable ... always dress in layers so you can take off if you get too warm. Around this time, Ireland's about the same climate as New England during the summer, so it's relatively warm. I went to Ireland last June and it was pretty chilly. During the day you'll be fine in a tank top and flip flops, but you may want to pack some warmer shoes and a cardigan or sweatshirt for the cooler nights and morning. Bring a rain poncho too - Ireland is prone to random showers! Have tons of fun! At the moment it is very nice in Ireland warmer than San Francisco, but this in not usual. Weather changes quite quickly so one week can be really warm (comparatively) the next you need a jacket and an umbrella! Check http://www.met.ie/ and also http://www.weather.com Expect it to be more like San Francisco than Los Angeles.... http://www.met.ie/ So far this week, they have had the highest temperatures in Ireland for 15 years..... That said.....we're talking in the 90s. Go to Weather.com and check out what they are saying... I believe it's supposed to get back down into the 60s again and it will possibly rain! Never go to Ireland without a rain jacket and you should probably bring a sweater or two too! If you don't use them during the day, you will probably need them at night. I'm from Dublin and live in CA, so you will probably think it's cold all the time anyway! Have a great trip! |
