Are there direct flights from England to the Republic of Ireland?

Travel Tips
you dont wanna go on a flight like that YUCK y would u wanna be on anymore planes w/ the luggage and all that not what i want here's what u do, get a train to HOLYHEAD, in wales and take the car ferry across the irish sea to Dun Laoghaire (pronouced Dun Leerry--i know its weird) u can walk around on the ferry, has retaurants, mini casino, shops, arcades, really nice. definetly beats any plane trip. and then take the DART (pub. trans.) to Dublin and ur set Source(s): just got back from england and ireland

Other Travel Tips
Of course!! Where else would they go via? The cheapest are ryanair.com and easyjet.com, but dozens of airlines do it, and the ferries are affordable too.
