If driving, you are looking at about 5 1/2 hours including the ferry.

The Euro Train takes about half an hour or 25-30 minutes. In 1970 they had a Plebisite on The Audobaun in Berlin Germany. They said if you can go from Dublin to London in under an hour they're banning traffiking there.
The UN Embassy in Berlin Germany is the best source of inter Continental travel within Europe and surrounding countries.

A flight takes 45 minutes to an hour.

Cleopatra is incorrect. Ireland is and island, you cannot get the train to London. I'd say that she is thinking about the Eurostar train that goes from Waterloo (I Think) in London to Paris.
