Where to Stay in Cork and Dublin? Book on line or wait to get there?

Travel Info
I am going to Ireland for 4 days in late November and I have been looking at places to stay. My question is, should I find a hotel or B&B when arrive in Ireland or should I book online (what is cheaper?)?
I found that when I went to expedia.ca the price for a hotel I was looking at was $111.00 and on an Ireland sight it is 70GBP which is around $150.00. Does anyone have suggestions on a cheap place to stay and how I should book it?
Thanx

Travel Tips
The cheapest place to stay would be a hostel. (But between a B&B and hotel, B&B definitely cheaper.)

Go ahead and book your accomidations online, but I would follow up with an email just to get a verification or more details. Source(s): www.hosteldublin.com

Other Travel Tips
You should absolutely look for Bed and Breakfast places. They'll be your best bargain and you will be treated like royalty.
Was in Ireland in '98 and went thru Dublin, Galway, Claire, etc. and only stayed at B&Bs.
Incredibly generous hosts.
I want to go back.
