Stay in Dublin 1 or 2 nights at the most . Things to do there is visit the Temple Bar area and go to Kilmainham Goal (jail). that was very interesting.Then rent a car and travel the rest of the country . Stay in B& B's for the rest of the trip. If you go to Ireland you have to visit the Southern parts and the Western parts. It was awesome!

in dublin it self i would advise only a one day or maybe 2 day stay. there is not much to do. just go to some museums and the pubs or whatever it is called.
