Questions about trinity college in dublin? |
Travel Info I'm an american collge student. I am in my first year, but I want to get my 4 year undergraduate degree in ireland instead. My sat scores aren't very good 490 matrh, 610 reading, 570 writing, 1100 for math and reading combined. How hard is it for an american student to get into trinity. I know that it is hard for students from ireland to get in as trinity is an excellent university, but is it easier for international students to gain entrance? Do I have any chance with those sat scores? My gpa was like a B- which isn't very good. If trinity is out of the question what about university college dublin, cork, limerick, or galway. Could I get into any of them. Bascially i'm an average american college student. which schools do I have a shot at. Thanks for your help. Travel Tips University of Limerick (UL) is a great Collage and international students have an easier time getting in. You will have to pay about double what Irish students pay. I don't know you're sat scores add up to over here but if, like you say you're around average you probably won't get Trinity, it's for geniuses! Others points to get in to Trinity are crazy. I only wanted to do English and I need 515 points out of 600! for ENGLISH! I've visited Trinity and it was just so big, I gave up after fifteen minutes and left. UCD has become one of the most popular choices now. depends what course you're looking to do. other good choices would be cork, limerick and galway too. the points are pretty reasonable there. I'm hoping to go to Maynooth, I really like the look of it. check it out on www.nuim.ie |
