I'm looking to book an area in a pub in Dublin for my 30th birthday late December.?

I've been away for a while so am looking for suggestions of nice new places? Oldies that would appeal are The Clarendon, Solas, Ba Mizu etc? Any ideas?

What about The Temple Bar in temple bar. Its really nice, and they have a decent smoking area with heaters, and the staff are friendly.

Others
That might be tough enough to book in late December as it's in the middle of the Christmas season. I would recommend booking well in advance. By saying that, I mean book now, if you can.
