Johnny Foxes, highest and one of the oldest pubs in Dublin, great food and fantastic live entertainment.

Gallaghers, just off Temple Bar - fab!
La Stampa is okay. JC Novelli has a hand in it. For steak try Shenihans.
The Guiness brewery :)
The Temple Bar is a must... great night life, great people, great food.
Yes there are good restaurants.
It depends what you're looking for, Bistro 1 in Foxrock is great and very reasonable, it's the casual side of snobby. If you're looking for something a little more upper crust try more central places, like Shanahans. Dundrum town centre has a good range of restaurants in loads of different price ranges. You should check out menupages.ie for a full list of restaurants and menus.
