Visiting Dublin Ireland in Jan, want to stay in city center, what do you suggest? |
Travel Info This is a romantic 2 day get-away for me and hubby. Want to stay at someplace with lots of character and quality and great service but easy as possible on the wallet. Will consider a bed and breakfast as well as hotel. Where should we go? Travel Tips I live in Dublin and i would recommend any hotel off O'Connell Street because its close to the main shopping area or a hotel near Grafton Street because it's near the Gaiety Theatre and St. Stephens Green shopping centre and park-which is beautiful!! I live in north Dublin, so you could stay in a BnB in Skerries or Malahide-which would be the nicer towns in the area. Or you could stay in south Dublin, in maybe Blackrock or Bray? Both are about 30-40 mins from the city centre. Hope that helps =) Others Ok well we went to Dublin this year and had a great time. We stayed with family so didnt have to worry about accomodation. You could find a nice bed and breakfast a little out of the city and go on the luis (tram) which doesnt take long at all. I really suggest going to Malahide when you are there. It is the nicest town, so green and beautiful! It will be very pricey to stay at but well worth a day trip. There is a nice beach, lovely restaurants and the malahide castle tour is great. Hope this helped you, have a great time! Found this for you, check the availability. http://dublin.city-centre-hotels.com/che... |
