Holiday in Dublin?

I am going for a break in dublin for my mates dads 40th birthday, his dad is taking about 10 people and my mate is bring 3 himself so there will be around 14-15 people something like that. We are going for a typical boys weekend away and staying 3 nights, i need to know how much money i should take away as i have heard that its expensive out there.

Have you already booked your accomodation?

A good guide is that beer seems to cost the same as London, Edinburgh (somewhere in between actually).

Hotels are expensive, however there are some really nice hostels in Dublin that will suit a boys weekend just fine.

If you've already got somewhere to stay take about EU150pp per night if you're splashing out and if not, then adjust it lower.

If you've not already got a place then take EU150pp and a major credit card!

Also, the last time I was in Dublin my cash card got charged a fee at the ATM machines there. So get your Euros ahead of time.
