Travel Info I live in london do i need a passport to travel to ireland by ferry? Travel Tips ive travelled to ireland on numerous occasions, from fishguard to rosslare (south ireland ,, not uk) ive never needed a passport, i also flew to dublin i did need id for that one, ive not been to ireland in 3 yrs but im certain theyve not changed the requirements since i was last there, best thing to do is look up on the ferrys site and see it would say there if you need it or not, i do not have a passport or photographic id of anysort all i have is the old paper driving licence and up until 3 yrs ago i was a 6 mnthly visitor to ireland , both north and south Others Yes you do sorry NO YOU DO NOT TRAVEL ACROSS EVERY WEEK 'Dick' is well named with that answer. You don't need a passport to travel to any part of the UK. It is known that an European Union citizen can travel to another country under European Union and since you reside in London, I don't think you need a passport to travel to Ireland. Probably you need an acceptable form of national dentity of your country. own |
