Travel Info What are the top ten tourist attractions of Dublin? Travel Tips Here are a couple of sites which give their top ten attractions for visitors to Dublin. It might be best to have a look at the last site which has reviews and photos of Dublin attractions posted by real travellers and locals and make your own top ten list of what you would like to see. Other Travel Tips Erm, I live here and I've done very few. Well the regulars are: Trinity College, The Guinness Brewery and erm.. all the art galleries (which are worth a look). Pubs? Someone else should probably answer this.. Try some of the random art galleries that litter temple bar.. there is ( I think) an exhibition of guitars in Collins Barracks at the moment. My advice is, if it is possible, get out of the city and go west so you can see the country and not another city. Try Mayo, Cork, even go into Wicklow - which is very near Dublin. i know its cheesy, but there's a hop-on hop-off tourist bus that goes around the city, you get a ticket for 24 hours and use it as you please (like you see in most other european cities). i live near dublin but after a whole lifetime had not seen most of the tourist attractions, so i took this bus one day with my ma, and we had a great day. you need plenty of cash, because you have to pay in to almost every attraction that you pass. dublin bus run one, check out their website, and there's also an independent company who run one aswell. http://www.dublinbus.ie/sightseeing/city... |
