don't worry it is sooooooo easy to find friends in Dublin. If you are staying for a while in an hostel you'll meet all foreigners doing just like you.
Otherwise you can go to the illac center or just have a walk in temple bar.
I guaranty you'll have about 10 000 friends after 2 days there
