Filipino nurses holding an indefinite leave to remain in Uk wanted to visit dublin.?

Travel Info
My husband and I wanted to travel to dublin to visit. I am wondering whether it is not necessary to have an Irish visa since we're both a permanent resident in UK? Thnaks for your answers! :)

Travel Tips
As a permanent resident in UK, there should be no complications going to Dublin. A passport is not needed when travelling between both countries only a valid form of ID so I don't think a visa would be necessary.

Others
Bring your resumes, Ireland is short of nurses too. You never know what you might turn up.
Then just I.D will be necessary, sometimes its better to carry passports just in case.

Hope u both have a good time in Dublin!
