great place and it is in the centre of Dublin, great chance to see the city at night and meet some locals
Cheap & cheerful try a b&b
Bewleys hotel in south dublin's rates are not that bad + located on the Naas road so close to most things
waterford is worth a look, the coastline along there is lovely, and it's only 2.5 hrs drive from dublin. In waterford, Granville's hotel is nice. Use Tripadvisor for your accommodation, it's never let me down!
As I have said before, there is no cheap accomOdation in UK, and that includes Dublin, and The Republic!!
Try under the bridge. Take your own blanket!!
