Dublin -of course.
Cork - very different to Dublin
Ring of Kerry - beautiful scenery, good long drive.
Waterford
Wexford
Northern Ireland, park of the UK, to visit too-
Belfast
Giants Causeway, County Antrim NI - astounding rock formation, at the coast.
Spend time away from major tourist sites too, just soaking up the atmosphere etc.

doesn't really matter today. great crack all over. try cork or kerry for a holiday.
I used to live in Ireland and there are some fantastic places. Personally I love Northern Ireland. Enniskillen is a wonderful place because people are friendly and there are great doughnut shops everywhere!
Have been to many places but would recommend:

Cork and the ring of Kerry

Connemara National Park - Galway, Westport and Achil Island.

Don't forget the north either.
Slainte !
you have GOT to come to bunratty castle & folk park

Co. Clare

also around there is craganowen (bronze age ruins)

the burren (just landscape)
