Does anyone know of a decent B& B within 10/15 minutes walking distance of the International Bus Stn in Dublin |
Travel Info I want to suprise my husband with a trip to Dublin for his birthday in July. I have booked Coach seats for us but as a couple of old codgers I do not want us to have to walk very far to wherever we stay. Travel Tips there are alot of b&b's on talbot street which is just beside the bus station. Or try Days hotel Inn on talbot st. its really nice or Celtic lodge Others Hello, id recommend you stay im Swords or Santry but heres a great website to browse through: http://www.dublintourist.com/directory/a... you should find what your looking for its a genuine site with nice places to stay :) good luck I would not recommend that you stay too close to the Bus Station in Dublin. It is in a rather busy and noisy area. I suggest that you walk to Connolly Street Station which is less than 10 minutes away and get either the local train (DART) or the Tram (Lucas) to a B&B in a nicer area and somewhere from where you can get better transport connections. Stay anywhere along the coast road in Clontarf. The 130 bus passes Busaras and will have you there within 15 minutes. Sea walks, nice restaurants and peaceful parks will surround you and your bus back into the city (130 leaving every 7-15 minutes all day) will leave you 100 metres from the Spire. |
