M50 Chaos???????

Anybody trying to get to the m50 from the n7 in Dublin this morning? Part of my journey that should only take 3-4 minutes took half an hour this morning at 6.30am!! This is what we have to face for the next year??? What's your horror stories re traffic,where ever you are.

grr...i hate the m50!!
especially now that there widening the road before the toll bridge, it just makes the traffic worse!!...on some sundays, we have to avoid the m5o at liffey valley and go all the way up through palmerstown to try get home and not be stuck in gridlock!!

Well the M50 has once agai n been true to it's nickname, the largest parking lot in Ireland.

Looks like there no off peak hours there, always congested
In fairness there was a crash on the Red Cow roundabout this morning which messed everything up!
It took me 45 minutes to travel a distance that takes 30 minutes to walk... should not have driven but there was no way of turning back once I was en route!

I am over on the south side, would the red cow crash have affected the whole city!?
Red cow?...oh u mean the Mad Cow ?!?
Have you tried turning of at Newlyns cross and heading down Belgard road.
This is what I usually do, the Red Cow is ridiculous.
Obviously this is not much help if you are travelling North on the M50, but for heading south it is well worth trying.
