Has anyone travelled on the Alta in the Galapagos?

I havent travelled on the alta. but I also went to galapogas after the nariz del diablo. There are many different ways to go see galapogas. everyone seems to do the cruise. prices are from $450 for the basic to over $1000. you can also just fly there and fly between the islands, we payed $10 a night for a hotel room right on the beach at Isabela. from here you can purchase the hike up the mountain, see penguins, turtles, seals, and flamingos. In san cristobal you can stay for $10 a night and buy three course rice based meal for $2. from san cristobal city have a taxi drive you to a beach past the airport and arrange to have him pick you up later. on the walk you can see many lobo's, seals, and the giant iguanas. they also have a good free museum. The best place for food is by the park, inside airconditioning. |
