What is the best way to get from buenos aires, argentina to quito, ecuador? |
Travel Info i am trying to see as much of south america as possible~but on a budjet. i can afford to fly~but do not know the airlines. also, good stuff to do in/around ecuador would be nice Travel Tips I'm from Guayaquil - Ecuador actually. If you go to Ecuador you'll definetely have tons to do. If you are in the coast, try to do La Ruta del Sol (Route of the Sun) which cover almost the whole coast line taking you to different beaches and different atmospheres (Atacames, Salinas, and DEFINETELY Monta~nita are a must!). If you want to visit a metropolitan city, go to Guayaquil (coast, more contemporary, tons of clubs and bars, visit the Malecon 2000) or Quito (highlands, more old-style but beautiful, tons of Cathedrals, tons of bars and clubs, use the Trole to go across the city). In both cities, you'll find malls and great typical food. Another city to visit is Ba~nos. Its in the highliands but it is not too high; the climate is perfect!. There you can go biking, climbing, kayaking, horse back riding, anything you can imagine. There are several places there that would serve as tour guides and can build your vacation. Ba~nos is close to Puyo (the Amazonic part of Ecuador) where you can also go rock climbing and exploring. They are relatively inexpensive for flights. You could get a ride in bus while in Ecuador. But from Argentina to Ecuador, you better get on a plane. In Ecuador you'll have A LOT of places to meet. Got to the Amazon, to the Andean Region, to the Coast and to GALAPAGOS islands! Ecuadorian I'm not sure if Aerolineas Argentinas takes you directly to Guayaquil, otherwise you should take a plane that flies to Lima-Peru or Bogota-Colombia so you can take a flight to Quito and welcome to my beautiful city you'll enjoy it, I recommend if you visit this easter week there are many interesting reigious celebrations. |
