Good tour operators for Ecuador?

I am hoping to travel to Ecuador and would like to set up an "adventure" type of tour that departs from Quito. Can anyone recommend good tour operators? Would particularly be interested in local companies.

l live in Quito and there are hundreds of travel agencies and tour operators and they all have pretty much the same prices. however, i would recommend you to get the tour here because it麓s cheaper and you can have a better idea of what you want to do. Depending on what you want to see and how much money you have, it麓s probably better to do it on your own. traveling in this country is pretty easy and you will never be alone because there are a lot of people traveling here. it麓s really easy to meet people. if you want to take an expensive nice tour, l would recommend metropolitan touring, but like l said it麓s probably better to come here and take different tours to different parts of the country. l mean, some agencies are better for the galapagos but some other are better to go to the jungle, you know? if you have more questions, let me know. del_swing@yahoo.com Source(s): none
