When's the best time to buy a airline ticket? |
Travel Info I have to buy a ticket to go to ecuador is it better to wait until last minute to get one or get one now? i'm leaving the 25th of december.. any suggestions? Travel Tips If you need to leave on a certain date it is better to get one early to take advantage of the discounts. They usually give you a better price of you buy at least 3 weeks in advance. If there is no certain time that you must leave then you can try last minute deals but this is risky because you may not find one for a long time, better to book early. Others get one now...the sooner the cheaper...unless you wait till the very last minute (like the day before) but then you risk the chance of the flights all being full Its always good to buy ASAP. Later you will spend more and ticket may not get confirm. Try SIDESTEP.com. It has good deals. I'd say buy it NOW. Flights to Latin America are always full for the holiday season, if you wait until the last minute it's likely you won't find available space. last minute you might not get a seat if you buy 30 days in advance you get a discount hey I'm from Ecuador...too many people flying back home from many countries those days (immigrants from Europe, the U.S., etc), pal, so buy a ticket now. Don't fly American though, they ALWAYS delay their flights, it's a b.i.t.c.h.!!! I would say Continental is the best. But if you come from Miami or N.Y., LAN Ecuador is excellent too. Good Luck visiting our little country! It's hard to tell...you just have to wait for a promotion. |
