What's the best area for a "gringo" like myself to get a hotel in Quito, Ecuador? |
Travel Info I would especially like an area that's safe...Thanks!! Travel Tips in "gringo land of course!". we stayed in hostal sierra nevada, on rue joaquin pinto, in the gringo land area...reasonable rates, clean, en suite, but not your hilton if thats your game. your bedroom is lockable, you can leave your stuff there safely if you are travelling out of quito for a while, laundry service...anmd theres even a police station at the end of the road - how safe can you get ? see: www.hotelsierranevada.com have fun! Others I think you should look up the languages they speak in all hotels in equador.or all hotels in Quito. Common Sense If you want safe go to Europe. Contact the US Embassy in Equador The JW Marriott is a good hotel about 10 minutes from the airport and they speak English there. I live in Ecuador |
