Im planning on moving to edinburgh, scotland. where is a nice area with reasonably priced flats? |
Travel Info a flat w/ two bedrooms and a nice kitchen and restroom(s) and a farely large livingroom. can someone give me some price ideas please?? thank you Travel Tips Depends on the part of town you want to live in. But again, the cheaper the area, the less secure it might be i.e. crime. With 拢600 you can get a good flat in a nice enough area. Keep out of new town, silverknowes, stockbridge, morningside to name a few. Lastly, private landlords are cheaper than solicitors and estate agents. Source(s): Me. Been there, done that. Other Travel Tips There is nothing reasonable in Edinburgh any longer.Try the website www.ESPC.co.uk.It is a property website.I would say what you describe would not be less than 80,000 pounds in a decent area. You can try the Borders and pay way less. we search this stuff all the time. Edinburgh is one of the most expensive areas to live in the country so cheap flats are not available. If you live outside of the city they might be cheaper but not much. Hope you get what you are looking for. Try one of the smaller areas outside Edinburgh... Leven is small and a nice area.. Cupar is another.. but larger but still rent is within reason... No flats are cheap to rent in Edinburgh ! I think the accommodation you are looking to rent would cost in excess of 拢700 a month and that wouldn't be in a really nice area. |
