Any recomendations where to stay Travel Tips Ive been looking for something for our anniversary in August and found a great hotel, its a bit on the expensive but we decided to have a splurge. I don't know but Scottish country cottages have lovely self catering holiday lets... I expect you'd prefer a hotel, tho? I believe that the first Saturday in September is the day for the Braemar Games. Braemar is about 90 miles away from Edinburgh - but even if you don't watch the games, the scenery is worth the trip! Try contacting the local tourist board for places to stay - we stayed with friends, so can't suggest anything from that point of view. Experience |
