How much is a visa to live in the uk? |
Travel Info hi im planing on moving to the uk. but im wondering how much is a visa and do i get it while in america at the uk embassy or should i jus go on holiday there n visit n see how things are n find a lot of stuff out for myself by visiting there? can i get a visa while im out there? Travel Tips You seem to be obsessed with going to the UK, or Canada, as your earlier posts suggest. Why don't you just go to the consulate pages (you can Google it) for whatever the country is you're wanting to immigrate to? But a better question is, why do you want to immigrate to other countries so much? Why not just visit and then see how it goes? Do you hate the US? Are you running from something? Because if you're running from something, chances are that you won't find your peace overseas. Source(s): ex-pat for life Other Travel Tips Call the British consulate nearest you and ask Depends on the visa....none of them are especially cheap. Check the Home Office's site www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk for costs and eligibility. You can obtain six months leave to enter the UK with no recourse to public funds (plainly, you're in as a tourist and expected to leave. You will be prosecuted if you apply for public funds or don't leave) upon entry at any port. If you want to live here you will need a proper visa. Apply for this asap if you intend on settling. www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk |
