Looking for nice, clean cheap hotel in Edinburgh? |
Travel Info Going to a wedding next saturday,so looking to book a room for 1 night, preferably in the Haymarket or South Queensferry areas, any recommendations? Travel Tips I'v been up there thrice, first time i stayed in this nice place by haymarket called Palmerston Hotel that is just by tht church called St.andrews i guess but not pretty sure..The place is quite decent and is a B&B lodging with twin room as well as dormitory. The second time i stayed over in budget packers and trust me you wouldnt want to go there, the place is just pathetic and itz more like a red-light district than a decent lodgin i mean with all the porno on the walls and the dungeon kinda appearance of the whole place in all. the third time we played it safe and took out tents with us coz we went on a camping trip to north of scotland then....So i guess you can try out palmerston place which is quite near to haymarket...good access to the bus station as well as nearby to princes street, quite a walking distance really... Source(s): Personal Experience! Other Travel Tips NO SUCH THING IN SCOTLAND I haven't been to Edinburgh before but my best advice would be to go on www.yell.co.uk and look for hotels and see if they have websites that show you pictures and prices of the place Cheap Edinburgh Hotels and Bed and Breakfast Lodgings @ Room4U.
